Glad to see that I'm not the only one who has recognized what a huge rubber bag of vinegar and water Disco Dolt is.

If I didn't need to get a roomate this month,I'd fly down for a show.I can do the whole thing with a room for under $200 from SFO.Right now I better keep the bread for a total Zappa show whenever that is.
Have a great time D-OC,er coevad. 8)

Whoa, whoa, whoa. This has gotten way out of hand. All joking aside I would never besmirch the reputation of any fair maiden, nor seriously boast of any conquest real or imaginary (do you hear me manti te'o). For the record, I have never laid hands on the fair Scheila. I AM NOT A GROUPIE!!!!

It looks like it was about 2 hours.

It might. But I included it to separate the R&E album and the rest of the set.

There was a "soundcheck set" that took place before both of these sets (there was no break between R&E and Teenagewind.)

Teenage Wind
Harder than your Husband
Teenage Prostitute (half way through; tech difficulties)
(pratice riffs)
Teenage Prostitute (full)
Cheepnis

The a decent sized break; and then what was listed above.

In Pittsburgh, they opened up the second set with an incredible performance of "The Evil Prince", complete with a story about FZ taking his family to see "Cats".

So how did/does "Bebop Tango" work in ZPZ's hands, dependent as this composition is on Bruce Fowler or the brassy talent of Bruce Fowler caliber? I'd reckon perhaps Scheila does the solo, but really, it's a drag all the brass parts that Bruce played during the halcyon days would have to be replicated on sax. Sax is usually my least favourite instrument in the standard horn section trio, unless played by folks like Bunk Gardner or Ian Underwood, of course. Are truly monster trombonists really so hard to come by? That Ben Thomas guy anyway seems to be the brass equivalent of Napoleon: can play a little (and perhaps is even better than Bob Harris in 1980), but not as complicated as Bruce/Scheila.

DB, seen any clips of the Be-Bop Tango, preformed by DZpZ on this latest tour yet?
