it hard to say,
ever since The Great Disturbance... i can't tell what was left behind, what was reconstructed, and/or what exploded inside of me.
i try to remind myself to forget "the good old days" with each fleeting temptation to rewind.
all that was lost was merely crumbling. poorly constructed hope floating on waterlogged promises. fuck all. i spit in the mirror.
to make do of all of this seems inappropriate and inapt. swimming against the grain.
you know -- nothing short of those dreams of breathing your teeth out. punching in slow motion.
do not let this extract a view of the sky. look TO the sky. at last, first things first...

i can't even

I wanna serve a complaint...

the above postcard from lapsed maps took entirely too long to get here...

I know I live on an island way away,
but it feels like all the parcel distribution systems
- while they get to more places -
take far too long and require way more hoops to clear and
fires to avoid, stamps to buy, or inspector generales to inspect and pass on
just so the message in a bottle, or, loping donkey carts, can then make their way...

and maybe the postcard got rained on, the bundle snapped a clasp,
with the orderly too tipsy and a trundled satchel fell in the ocean,
or misplaced in the moproom for a year.

Still, that's why
A Remembered Trace (ART)
needs repeating, sometimes
or all the time.
Again and again.
And with endless fractal-like variations
in attendance along with, or outside
entire hither-to unknown fields set for furrow.
New vistas!

But despite the delays and interruptions,
to equalize (really overcompensate) for
just a fraction of the interminable pratfalls and mishaps that will inevitably disrupt too many missives,
in effect, find an invisible sun or maybe your own lens
and send more of 'em.
Acknowledge the Impedance by increasing the wattage, but also adding resistors that buffer from the electrical shock.
with love and a steaming bowl of spiral pasta and butter,
punknaynowned

p.s. I'm really glad at least the the message was sent, and at last recieved. Send more!
