I knew this would happen. I don't want to be a thread nazi but there's a thread for people who want to talk about lesser pursuits, its called "Football Sucks". I can resurrect it for you if you like.

Sorry for infiltrating your "egg chasing" thread with a bit of footy (NOT SOCCER!!). Anyhow, looks like Wales in the quarter-final so that shouldn't be too difficult. I'm expecting Clive to give us a bell if he wants to give a few players a breather before the semis (looks like France)
Image :D

So the English were very rightly fined a substantial amount. Fair enough, it didn't warrant them being stripped of their points for the win. But their sheer arrogance, in ignoring the match official by sending the extra player on, required a heavy financial penalty.

Anyway, we're into the business end of comp now. Who will prevail?

The contests are heating up alright. I've never been so glad to hear a fulltime whistle (except for some Bledisloe nailbiters). I still have an uneasy feeling about our team selection. Gregan is past it and Wendell has no music in him, IMO.

You aussies were so lucky. We Irish should have beaten you. Can't believe we choose to run with the ball rather then goo for the 3 points when we had that penalty. Can't wait for the French now, we've beaten them already this year. Then it will be the English in the semis(that will be some game). And the who knows who we might meet in the final.

[glow=green,2,300]You'll Never beat the Irish[/glow]
