I don't know what was in that stuff but the taste and smell radiated so intensely in my mouth I could feel it in my nasal passages. It was putrified! I grabbed a napkin and spat it right out. The whole aluminum plate stank of rotting bacteria that there's no describing. I gagged and had to wait over half and hour to fry up some hamburg throw it on a bulkie roll and let that do. The place is still there and doing a thriving business. I have no idea how or why. This was so disgusting I didn't believe it was possible for something that rancid to escape anyone's attention.
Another unbelievable food experience! Blech!

It's a good thing bad food usually tastes bad... once my sister and I were food poisoned. My sister was sorta OK, but I ended up puking every 15 minutes, for around four hours, then I went to bed with a bucket by my bedside. I was a mess when I woke up.

And we never found out what it was.

Very similar to when I was at a Chinese restaurant with two friends -- the one who got the food poisoning along with me and the one who didn't.
The strange part of the whole thing was that "Ricky" and I were fine and even got extremely hungry during out bout with this. Ricky stayed at my place too sick to go home at first but by midnight everything had passed after puking and fighting for the nearest toilet.
That was a tease! As soon as we ate anything, absolutely anything the nausea, vomiting and diarrhea started right up until we were drained! The only solution: Don't eat and you won't get miserably sick and start puking and crapping. This went on for over three days! No food and we were both OK. Get hungry and eat and it was back to that damned "throw and go" and gastric misery.
But just at the exact same time we took the same chance, ate, and, voilà! The whole thing was gone and it was OK to eat again without worry and it was at the exact same time that we both got over it. But what was it? Still have no idea.

After that you couldn't get either of us into that place again if we were paid to eat there.

Life Brand deluxe mixed nuts with 50% cashews, and a bottle of Life Brand lemon-lime "Fuelocity" thirst quencher.

Chili I made. Very spicy and delicious. My first time, so I'm sorta proud of myself.

Oh, oh! Was it anything like a formerly empty Coke or Pepsi bottle conveniently drunk dry and placed next to the cot that got a refill but not with anything resembling the original contents? (Including Nutmeg Grey tea.)
