I have all the Sabbath albums from the Ozzy era in minature gate fold style covers. The CDs have record style pictures on. And it's in a box set. Awesome!

I had all those old shitty Sabbath discs (you know, the ones with the crappy Live At Last 'bonus' tracks)
<br><br>What? You're down on the Live At Last? 20 years ago I thought it was great.....now, I think it's pretty bad. I saw them with Dio and thought this is what it should've sounded like.

Black Sabbath are one of my all time faves. I will get the boxset when I can afford it.

I dont have the Lp replica issues, but I have some standard jewel case BS remasters, namely Paranoid, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Sabotage. Are they the same masters or were they re-done?

I got a book when the interviewer ask Frank Zappa a top ten of it's favorite songs or albums.<br><br>Frank Zappa quotes "Supernaut" (from "Vol.4") as being a great song, with a real monster riff.He also said "this is a good prototype of a kind of music that could really be very succesful in the future".He also said that he liked a lot the sound and tone of the guitar.<br><br>Listen'it,you will agree with Frank!<br><br> ??? (this emoticon looks like Mick Box from Uriah Heep)

Just so happens Vol. 4 is my favorite Sabbath disc with the Ozzy lineup...Heaven and Hell is my fave w/RJD on vocals. <br><br>I got the Castle remasters that came out in '00. They sound great and as someone pointed out, they indexed s/t correctly and put "Blowing the Jug" at the end of Sabotage.

It has some pretty interesting stuff, not as good as the other albums maybe, but worth the purchase. And half of it is pretty awesome too.<br>

It's also mentioned in this interview: http://www.science.uva.nl/~robbert/zapp ... urray.html<br><br>'I only listen to rock and roll records for purposes of research. Black Sabbath have one song that's real good. It's called "Supernaut". -- FZ<br><br>I also remember from another book (might be the Slaven book? I'll have to check) that Frank actually was the announcer for a Black Sabbath concert? Can anyone verify that?<br><br>

I think Master of Reality is the one with all the best grooves/riffs on it. I like just about all Sabbath with Ozzy, but that's got to be my favorite recording of theirs.
