In the "Journal de Montréal" today (I translated for our Americans' friends...)

Trump will replace the "Obamacare" with the "I don't care".

It's rather interesting the dog and pony distraction show on TV.

This bit about "no replacement plan;" the lie; the crux of the biscuit, so to speak.

The truth is "there is no replacement plan for you, no replacement plan we can show you on TV."

For then you would know about it, and bitch about not having it; better to keep you distracted and think there is no replacement plan.*

The replacement plan was and still is HR676 which simply expands medicare to all, no exceptions.

It's already been written, it's complete, and it's core already implemented and working as medicare.

So when the person on TV tells you they have no plan to replace "insurancecompany-care" with, he's lyin to you too. He's lying just as bad as the one he's complaining about, cuz he knows you don't know about HR 676, how could you, it's not on TV. *

Here's a short link to HR 676 by Conyers and Kucinich, repeatedly introduced in about the last 5 congresses.

http://www.pnhp.org/news/2011/february/ ... or-all-act

Problem is, the insurance companies get cut out; no more billions of health care dollars a year to pay insurance companies who do no health services. Problem is, no more Americans pay twice as much as all other industrialized nations (28% GDP), and receive half as much, while not even everybody is covered.

Medical coverage the American-way, watch TV, no replacement plan.

You are going to sleep...

...no replacement plan.

You are going to sleep...

...no replacement plan...

...that's right folks, don't touch that dial :)

Hmm....well, the VA hospital system is single payer and run by the government, and it's a mess. And their patient base is bigger than some countries. So I don't think it's as simplistic as "let's extend it to everybody and things will go swell". I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, but that's a model we have right now that shows that government run health care single payer isn't always a smoothly running operation.

This is obvious, because the revolt on the right is more effective and they have a consequent resource
