Ahhh, nice, thanks Grey_Ghost...the things you learn on the zappaforum...that's why my sink was screwed up compared to the gif, the tap was on the lower left, overcoming Coriolis/ I filled it again and let it sit for 20 minutes and pulled the plug straight up and all is well with the world, lol :)

Nope - but then Chernobyl is everywhere, isn't it? BTW I was in Berlin when Chernobyl happened and a weather front came from there this way. I had a friend who blamed his cancer (and later death) from going out in the rain that day.

Allegedly Vlad the Putin can arrange for your very own personal dose of Chernobyl as a gift for publically disagreeing with his policies.....what a guy :P

Cross between a heavy mist and a soft rain for the past two days. I was planning a family get-together with a bonfire for toasting s'mores & hotdogs but looks like things are going to be saturated.

I don't know what just happened in Bloomington Illinois, but this shock wave looks like something from a nuclear explosion...

Storm blows away
After three days of weather mayhem, New Zealand is in for a fine, if chilly, Saturday
Time to make the most of the fresh snow - the storm is over

https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/947639 ... rm-is-over

Wow I'm glad that's over, no snow in the city, but raging wind and rain, flooding galore which made for some dangerous and diverse detours through far flung and seldom visited suburbs to get to and from work. Doubled the distance and tripled the time.....Made the drive really exciting

Now: 9°C (48.2°F)

Max: 11°C (51.8°F)

Min: 5°C (41.0°C)

Latest reading

Wind: 20 kph (12.4 mph)

Rain Today: 0.2

Humidity: 88%

Updated: July 15th 09:30am

Today's Forecast

A few showers, clearing to long sunny spells by afternoon. Southerlies dying out by the afternoon.

Sunday's Forecast

Cloud increasing late afternoon. Few showers developing in the evening, then rain at night. Northerlies develop morning, strengthen afternoon.

Take heart, I just walked by a window here at 8:40 pm and thought...hmmm, little darker out there than it was a few weeks ago at this time.

82/28 and sunny here for tomorrow. After a cold spring we've been having good garden weather, no heat waves... so far...
