AAAAARRRRGGH! I've heard it 3 times in the 7 minutes since I posted that!! It's ruining my enjoyment of this major disaster.

Started back into occasionally collecting cassettes.

Sure the sound quality is not the best, but I picked up Frank Sinatra and Hank Williams at the Salvation Army for 50 cents. Not bad at all for the casual fan or someone who doesn't want to spend much. I have a camper & it has a built in stereo which plays tapes so that's where I'll keep the new collection. The down side is you don't know what's on hand at anytime, but that's part of the treasure hunt.

I almost purchased a best of CCR and a Chet Atkins but thought that I'd come back later (for some reason) because certainly nobody wants to purchase anything on cassette. I was terribly wrong, both were gone when I returned.

I used to work for Kodak...now I work for HP...

So for Halloween I went as a Kodak Tech(:

One of my old shirts and my trusty old Kodak Service coffee cup :)

It was funny as hell, I went to 5 customers (brought 'em DD Halloween spider doughnuts too, reverse trick-or-treat), sometimes they wouldn't notice for about 10 minutes then they'd suddenly burst out laughin' mid-sentence :D :D :D

"I'm gonna tell your boss!"

"Who's that Kodak tech workin on your press!!"

HAPPY HALLOWEEN :)

Black Friday, that day of competitive shopping (trampling, fistfights, and heated arguments) hasn't yet had a public shooting. Yet. Only a matter of time before some irate person with a handgun commits homicide over the last toaster-oven in the store.

I've spent the past few weeks wondering what happened to my only Led Zeppelin-CD, II. I think I played it once.

Call yer warmongers....

End the War in Yemen: Call Your Senators Now!

Dear Antiwar.com Readers:

Currently, US involvement in Yemen is under the authority of the Trump Administration without Congressional authorization. The US is not at war with Yemen but aiding Saudi Arabia with fuel, supplies, intelligence, and a blockade. US arms manufacturers have sold billions of dollars in weapons. One Yemeni civilian is killed every three hours by Saudi airstrikes.

S.J.Res 54 will end U.S. support in the Saudi Arabian led war in Yemen. The bill, which has eighteen co-sponsors is before the full senate now.

Step one: Do not be intimidated by the telephone. Calling is more effective than emails or letters.

Step two: Find contact information for individual senators here(or call the Capitol switchboard at 202-224-3121.)

Step three: When someone answers the phone, "Good morning, I'm [your name.] I am calling to urge [Senator's name] to support S.J.Res 54, to keep us out of further involvement in Yemen." Keep calls short. Be polite.

Call now: The vote is imminent.

Peace,

Angela Keaton

Old is when you need glasses; really old is when you can't remember where you left them.
