Personally....I thought the 2008 Frankie Thread was more entertaining.

there was a 2008 Frankie thread? hmmmm

I don't even watch that award show. I didn't know the oscars were in February I thought they were in March. ehhh I doesn't give a fuck anyway. I haven't watched a new movie in years anyway and don't give a fuck about hollyweird anyhow.

I am so glad I cut off my TV now I can sit at home and listen to music on my great stereo and type cryptic messages to all my fans on the Zappa forum. :P

I don't even watch the movies nominated.

I saw the Lego Movie 2, though. Good script. They rarely have scripts that work in movies. The main characters are Emmit and Lucy. The President, appears twice for a few seconds, is called President Business.

I take back part of that. I saw the winner, one of very few I saw in 2018. Only because it involved music.

^^^The only nominated movie I’d seen before the Oscars was Bohemian Rhapsody. I thought it was entertaining despite its historical inaccuracies but I didn’t really think of it as being Oscar worthy. I watched the Oscars and decided to watch BlacKkKlansman after. It was good and had some good tunes too. I plan on checking out a couple of the others too. I especially want to see Vice.

My sis saw Vice and recommended it highly, Christen Bale for all of his cray ways is an excellent actor...
