Anyhoo, any of you with balls can share with us the thing you like that might most put you at odds with the cool crowd.... that dark skeleton in your closet... could be music, could be ballet, could be a Bette Midler movie...

Mine is Gloria Estefan. There, I said it. I like her music.

If you wish to make fun of that, feel free, but have the courtesy to disclose your own guilty pleasure.

I also like Slayer, in case you thought I was a pussy, BTW.

Saying that you like Slayer to make others think you are not a pussy = MEGApussy.
Even if you do like them.

And what is there to feel guilty about? Like what you like when you like it. Pussy.

Although electro songs are always the same, I like Wake Me Up by Avicii and Animals by Martin Garrix.

I love a lot of schlock: Johnny Rivers, really mushy Linda Ronstadt, all Bonnie Raitt, Hall and Oates, especially "Abandoned Luncheonette"

The list would be long. I don't think Springsteen and Queen are guilty pleasures, they merely appeal to a wide audience. I venture to say that sometimes forum members here fall for the illusion that only obscurata has legitimacy. Psul Anka and Neil Diamond wrote corny, and very well-crafted pop songs.

I am sure I will get pilloried for this admission 8) :? 8)

I hope it's for the dancers, Mr. Nice Guy. My wife was watching Good Morning America today and he was on there. His lyrics all consist of hip-hop/dance cliches that have been spouted thousands of times by other artist.

Yes, I like enough of his songs to have purchased a greatest hits compilation. So sue me.

That was more than a year ago. In that time I've come to realize that Pitbull isn't bad. He's horrid.

No thanks, Arkay. If I want to hear talentless hacks, I can go see Journey in Omaha in August.

I like One Hot Minute by RHCP. Not all of it, but most of the songs.
