Good idea! I have a 1974 Penguin paperback!
Please bear in mind that I'm not a native speaker and that this will cause me to take much longer than you.

OK!
I had thought that engrish isn't yer lingua mater, but we can conSOLE with the tho't that
much of that book isn't really English!
I have toyed with the idea of finding some scholastic apparatus, a commentary for it's big range of new words
...
which would slow me way down. But I think I'd be doing good if I read even 10 pages a week.
Starting today.

The Irving-Lipstadt trial transcripts.
Funny how Holocaust Deniers think they are "running rings" (as Irving himself later put it) around real historians, when any halfway objective observer can see that they're like little kids, running around with their fingers stuck in their ears going "I can't hear you!!". The transcripts are immensely amusing and shocking, though funnily enough they don't contain the reported passage, where Irving made the mistake of referring to the judge as "Mein Führer".

It is a collection of essays by Brazilian fans (mostly musicians, producers, journalists, cartoonists, etc). It has some wrong information so far, but many nice texts as well and very nice cartoons, strips and etc. A very nice thing is that it has exclusive Zappa interviews for Brazilian reporters, never before seen on Broadway... I will post some artwork as soon as I can scan it...

Even though it is in Portuguese, you can check a partial fac-simile here:

Ahaha... Those are translations of Zen Zappa sayings roughly sketched into depicted illustrative situations of the aforementioned sayings...

"Zappa Quotes"

From the top, left to right (Maybe some will be lost in back translation):

If you want to get laid go to college, but if you want to learn something, go to a library

Most people wouldn't recognize good music if it bites them in the ass...

[The famous] Rock jornalism...

A drug is not bad. The problem comes in when people who take drugs treat them like a licence to behave like an asshole

Sport is a drug. Practice guitar

Stupidity has a certain charm, ignorance does not...
