Finished this one last night. Very good read. He had quite the life and the attitude to go with it. And I've found out that I have the same dislike of Wynton Marsalis that he did... (man he did not like that dude!).

Soon to be a major motion picture.

"Lagebesprechungen im Fuerherhauptquartier". After a heated argument with the Chief of the Wehrmachtsführungsstabes, Jodl, Hitler ordered that all his conversations with Generals should be transcribed. At the end of the war, some bright SS spark thought that these records should be burnt. However, some remnants remained, amongst which are Hitler's views on the fall of Stalingrad, Mussolini's deposition and interesting conversations about whether Germany should negate the Geneva Convention.

Just finished Steve Lukather’s new book: The Gospel According To Luke

Good read!

Any good? Recent interviews kind of gave me the impression that he had "lost it" (see Cleese and his truly dreadful autobiography).

I haven't read much of it, but I don't get the sense that he's lost it. After all, a lot of his comedy comes from his sense of the absurd; and in my experience that's not something that people typically lose...

- As chaps like that get on there is a worry that their plots might after all fall by the wayside...

Today I picked up this 4 cassette audiobook for $1 SWEET DEAL!

Also nabbed 3 cds from CCR:
Willie & the Poor Boys
Cosmo's Factory
Chronicle volume 1 for 1.50 EACH!

What a great penny-pinching haul.
