Over what period of time were the sessions recorded (dates and duration please)?

How did Shuggie Otis come to play bass on Peaches? Are there any unreleased Captain Beefheart morsels laying around from these or other sessions? Will Trout Mask and Shiny Beast be rereleased by the ZFT one of these days?

In listening to Piano Music (Section 1)
and Piano Music (Section 3) my heart had stopped..In the 60s a common concept was that Rock and Roll could make your heart skip a beat. In these pieces performed by Ian Undererwood the feeling was very similar in listening to Eric Satie's The Gymnopedies.

Please discuss how Frank Zappa's music can move space and time.

Cheers,
Gary Titone
