Rumour confirmed.

"Zappa Records celebrates RSD 2017 with an exclusive 10" clear vinyl release featuring The Petit Wazoo, a 10-piece band heavy on horn instrumentation that Zappa toured with in late 1972. Side 1 contains the song Rollo in it’s complete form, first released on Little Dots in 2016. Side 2 contains the unreleased track Portland Improvisation, produced by FZ himself and mastered by Bernie Grundman."

Btw, this was the busiest RSD in a few years. Probably about 50 or so people when doors opened.

Got the FZ 10-inch and the Sun Ra Janus yellow/black vinyl (which actually looks more like swirly brown). The store owner told me he got in three copies of the ELP single, but I didn't see any. Would have loved to score the Popol Vuh green vinyl LP, but it was a "regional" release, not available after curfew in Sectors R or N. A lot of other stuff I was kind of interested in I didn't see. Couldn't find anything I really wanted in the regular store stock.

The Bullmoose in my area had 6 of the FZ 10" albums. They didn't last long.

I'm near Buffalo NY. Checked the RSD store Tues 4/25, nothing. Don't know if they even had it on Sat.. Ordered from Bullmoose online for $10 on 4/25, received it today, the 27th. I have #340, haven't opened yet. Looks to be in perfect shape. Bullmoose is so great.

What's on the ELP? I've got the CD, the Deluxe Edition CD, and the DVD-A of Brain Salad Surgery.

The RSD site said "Replica of sought after 1973 NME covermount flexi-disc, imported from the UK for Record Store Day 2017"

Before I returned home from seeing Kansas in Seattle this past weekend (excellent show, btw!!!), I bought a couple of vinyl records from Holy Cow Records (situated in the bowels in the Public/Pike Place Market). One of them was, Rollo (#1277). And the other was this gem (although the condition isn't as good as the pic below)...:

Yeah, the clerk on shift was just as surprised as I was. Since it wasn't cheap, he gave me the 2017 DZPWTFHW Seattle show poster that was taped to the front of the counter, for free.

Yeah I live near the flagship store, which oddly enough is also one if it's smallest locations. So it wasn't that odd to see so few. I am sure they got a chunk of them in all.
Also, Chris Brown, who's been with Bullmoose for years, is one of the co-founders of Record Store Day. I try to never buy physical product any place else. They are the best.

Thanks. I guess I'm not the much of a collector, I hadn't heard of this version.
