I can't even dare to look and see how much P&P is to England !

Not only but also is there going to be a box set with just the CDs ?

Will wait and see what Amazon are charging .

Really hope the next release is a little cheaper for those of us who ain't minted .

I had a dream that this would take place back in 1966 when I was five years old before these sessions even happened. What do you think about that?

Nice call Mr. Nice Guy! 8)

Hello. As you know, "The Hot Rats Sessions" box set appeared in our store today. What you might not know is that this happened mistakenly. Our store partner made this error. “The Hot Rats Sessions” should have been announced tomorrow on the 50th anniversary of the release of "Hot Rats." Adding insult to injury, the store page included information from a work document that should never have been leaked. Rest assured we will announce as planned tomorrow, October 10th, and when you receive "The Hot Rats Sessions" box set, you will have all the correct information at your finger tips. Thanks for your understanding. Joe Travers, Vaultmeister

While I don't comment all that frequently today's anniversary seems fitting. It's also National Hug A Drummer Day today so I'll do that here to spread merry cheer.

Can't wait. From the bottom of my heart, I thank Joe for all he does. 50 years later my headspace is a layer of overdubs. This project will be a defining moment, where listeners will clearly hear FZs vision was well beyond the jam view of notes and rythms of a set of musicians.

But my mind space also yearns for Joe to produce a solo piano Ian Undererwood Album. In my conversations with Ian, taking that and seeing how he did not want to leave the stage at The Roxy for his recent guest appearance with the Zappa Band(Sans Halo Show) I pray for that thought to become a reality.

I think Ian could perform solo piano versions that would stop space and time. If anyone has listened to Eric Satie's Gymnopedies that is an example of music that can do that. Ian's solo piano performances on this project made my heart stop. In listening to a preview at the Zappa offices it was Twilight Zone.

I'll try and take a few minutes on this Anniversary date to put a selection of tracks for a solo project. Maybe fans have ideas on song selections. Fans , any thoughts?

In getting back to that Hug A Drummer Day. Joe Travers deserves awards that have yet be invented...... Think quick Gary..... Hmmm The Zappa Universal Heart and Soul Award.

Peace and Love to all.

It looks like I need to save my original 1969 mix - VERY different from what RYKO put out in 87, and the 87 version seems to be on this session set. I wonder why no original 1969 mix?
