As Thursday prepares herself for distant memoriehood, a pseudo party has broken out in the cave.....someone is actually tuning up the autoharp.....I've hidden the lute flute and harpsichord.....I'm going to attempt a mood change with as much Helsinki as they can take.....

the Helsinki mood change failed after around 26 minutes, which was about the same time that the booze kicked in, a bunch of instruments appeared, mostly mine. At the peak there were seven guitars, four electric four acoustic one an electric acoustic and one a twelve string, two sets of bongos a conga and a couple of cajons, one with a snare, used to great effect, a saxophone of unknown extractment and a stand up bass, mic'ed up and popped through a looper for some mind bending rhythms and the old autoharp. A piano accordion made a brief appearance and there was rumored to be a banjo but I never saw/heard it.....
Hell of a night.....

now they're mostly all gone and it's time for some early morning music

Just watched Fellini's "Casanova" on DVD again. Zappa looks exactly like Donald Sutherland just before his death in the movie here

Joe's Menage. Illinois EB thankfully is short. Lonely Little Girl comes across as a neat little oldie. And Chunga's Revenge. Though nothing beats the studio version.
