Good evening citizens and welcome to Friday night, ordinarily my weekend would be starting around about now, however our company's surprise Christmas extravaganza commences at 10:00 am tomorrow morning, when we will be taken by bus to a secret location for some mystery fun.....

Traditionally these gatherings are held around mid December and more or less consist of:

A: A meal with some booze followed by more booze,
B: A barbeque with some booze followed by more booze,
C: Booze with some booze followed by more booze.

This year the surprise is we are being taken to the (booze free) Adrenalin Forest

Located among natural surroundings in Wellington, Adrenalin Forest courses feature over 100 fun filled challenges across six levels. Each level is harder than the last, with obstacles starting at 1.5 metres above the ground that are suitable for a wide range of ages and fitness levels. To conquer the whole course and claim your bragging rights, you’ll be climbing, jumping and swinging at least 20 metres up in the air.

But this isn’t just a test of your physical skills - each obstacle can be conquered in different ways, so you’ll be stretching your brain as well. Challenges include the Indiana jump, crossed logs, barrels, wrecking balls, a commando flying fox and Tarzan jump. Nerves will definitely be tested, but the revolutionary Clic-iT safety system, which ensures a continuous connection to the safety line, will keep you safe at all times.


I'm not to sure how this will go down with th' troops, who to a man would rather be working the Saturday and earning those big pre Christmas bucks. We close down for two weeks from December the 22nd through to January the 6th, so these lads need every dollar to get themselves and their families through to 2020.

As per usual I'll be part of the skeleton staff for a few days here and there over "the break"
to ensure there is some actual work to come back too next year.....

Anywayyyyy my weekend doesn't start now, but my Friday night does and,
unlike last night, everybody is wearing pants.....

Welcome to Sunday officially our first day of summer, naturally it's a little chilly around the edges with predictions of wind 'n' rain.....

Weekendus Interruptus, As we're leaving on the non Kiss/Cookie's "you can't keep a bad girl down" farewell tour part three tomorrow, I slipped into the office this morning for a couple of hours of very loud AC/DC and to ensure every one gets paid next week.....
