Thank you Ahmet Zappa and Joe Travers.

Literally, I don't judge expectations and priority that fans have. With optimism, I objectively listen to all. Expect The Unexpected is the code I subscribe to. In speaking of 75' live material, I would assume fan surveys have weighted hopes and expectations for a full Zappa show with Captain Beefheart. Personally I've been hoping for a grand scale of the Orchestral Favorites project since first hearing the original release when I walked home with the LP on May 4th, 1979. Enjoy

Trendmonger: Thanks for your shortest post ever - "I would assume fan surveys have weighted hopes and expectations for a full Zappa show with Captain Beefheart"

Wasn't the rumor that Road Tapes #4 was to be the Charleston WV show?

Pre-ordered from Amazon @ £21.09 inc p+p. :D :D :D :D :D

Happy with that price . :smoke:

Meanwhile, it's gone up to fifty bucks on US Amazon. I went ahead and preordered from the UK; once they took off the VAT and added shipping (almost the same amount) it came to £18.17.

Me too. I was expecting that this time after the ZINY box went up considerably on amazon after the initial listing.

I pre-ordered from Amazon.ca, $52.00 CDN (incl. tax and shipping). A couple of days ago, Burning Shed, in the U.K., offered to deliver me a copy for $35.00 CDN (total)
So, once again, it's less expensive, for me, to shop in England, than to shop in Canada, or the States.

Confession on the Zappa purchases prior to his death: I never bought Sleep Dirt. So I am missing the title track from the official releases. I did get Orchestral Favorites on CD. Then Läther after he died. I was not keeping up well in the 80s and 90s. Jazz from hell was the last LP I got.

Amazon.ca is now listing it as "unavailable".

The early bird catches the discount worm. 8)

I ordered mine (3 cds) for $27.12 on June 28. The price has now risen to $33.57.

Whilst nosing around Amazon.ca, to see how they are treating Frank, (the new 3CD release is still listed as unavailable, but you can pre-order the vinyl) I found this strange pricing on a CD.
Which......do you choose?

There was a freebie download of
Revised Music For Guitar And Low-Budget Orchestra

Offer. Is it just the regular track?

The thread on this topic at zappateers is 8 pages long, so I have not gone thru it. Anyway, is there anything going on with Studio tan and Sleep Dirt at this time?

Yeah, this is the shit.
That full show is worth the price of admission.
Stoked for this one.
